Albert's passion is to bring technology innovations into market realities.

Throughout his Silicon Valley career, Albert has extensive leadership experience with startups and corporations, bringing dozens of products and services to market for startups and global companies, including Apple and AT&T. As an experienced technology executive, product marketing and business strategist, Albert serves as advisor, board member and investor for a portfolio of startups.

Currently, Albert is a member of the SOMPO Digital Lab Silicon Valley team responsible for product innovation and partnerships, with a focus on aging and caregiving, healthtech and insurtech. Separately, he is also managing partner at Poppyseed, a consulting firm that specializes in U.S. market entry and innovation technology transfer for Asian startups and corporate clients.

Albert serves as a lead advisor at SkyDeck, the accelerator program at the University of California, Berkeley; an advisor and business catalyzer for NEDO Silicon Valley office; a Silicon Valley advisor to Mitsubishi Research Institute’s Innovation Network for Co-Creating the Future; and a visiting fellow at Singapore University of Social Sciences.

Albert is a regular speaker and workshop presenter on startup culture and pitch training. He is a published author.

Albert has a degree in mechanical engineering from Stanford University and the Advanced Executive Program at Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
